Life-Led Learning. Since we're a bunch of people who find life interesting, we do a lot of life-experience type things together. We've travelled across Canada to both coasts. We've written novels together. We've sold vegetables, farmed honeybees and gotten stuck in the same boat. We sing. Some of us dance (others consider it religious heresy, or at least, that's their excuse). In any case, it's all good fun.

Use the links above to navigate the records of our family activities, or our pages on unschooling in the different subject areas.

It's all Dave's fault. It was his idea to homeschool, in the beginning. Dave is the backbone of the family. He preaches and teaches Bible studies, makes biodiesel, washes dishes, and spends a lot of time rolling his eyes at Cat's nefarious plans.

The rest is Cat's evil scheme to take over the universe. This is a lady with a constant mental restlessness. She writes and edits, is involved in an internet radio startup, and plans many of the escapades the family embarks upon.

Then there are the kids. Ah, yes, the children. Wild, but not uncultivated. Often found jumping and yelling with excitement about a proposed family adventure. Precocious, creative, and full of far more personality than is safe for innocent passerby.

These well-travelled and knowledgeable munchkins of doom enjoy reading, music, sailing, visiting with people of all ages, and whatever else their parents tackle with enthusiasm.
